Director of Communications Marek Kowalsky continues our series in Romans, focusing in on Romans 15:14-33, and answers the question: "How do I live out my calling with confidence?"
In his sermon on Romans 15:14-33, Marek Kowalsky addresses how believers can live out their callings with confidence. He emphasizes the importance of recognizing our unique gifts and callings, as Paul does when he commends the Roman believers for their goodness, knowledge, and ability to instruct one another. Marek highlights that confidence in our calling comes from understanding that we are equipped by God and part of His larger mission. He underscores the necessity of boldness in sharing the gospel, supported by Paul's example of spreading the message from Jerusalem to Illyricum. Marek concludes by encouraging believers to be fervent in prayer, rely on God's provision, and seek to glorify Him in all they do, just as Paul requests prayer for his journey and aims to visit Rome to impart spiritual blessings and be mutually encouraged.
ABOUT THE SERIES Paul’s letter to the church in Rome is widely loved among followers of Jesus as one of the most theologically rich books in the entire Bible. Its themes of salvation, grace and faith have resonated deeply with readers in different times, places and circumstances. As we take a fresh look at the book of Romans for our day, we’ll take our time to journey through the text, ask thoughtful questions and allow it to kindle our faith and love for Jesus.
